Chicken Gate ESLP

Mario, Kyle, Nate Came up with idea for gate/fence for chickens Mario Bought supplies for fence and dropped them off at Kyle's house Nate Built frame of gate and set up wire Kyle Finished up gate and started on extra posts Kyle Put finishing touches on gate and finished up posts Mario  Bought paint thinner and varnish and varnished the gate Nate/Kyle Made repairs on gate and fencing and tightened up fence.

Monday September 11, 2017 Mr. Bursch assigns ESLP to all of class We come up with idea of new gate for chickens Wednesday September 20, 2017 We went to Home Depot to buy materials Finalizing design and building process Friday September 29, 2017 Building of the gate starts and frame is finished   Wednesday October 11, 2017 Building continues and gate is almost finished Thursday October 12, 2017 Finishing touches are put on gate in accordance with Mr. Busch's recommendations Tuesday March 13, 2018 Mario goes to hardware store and buys varnish and paint thinner Wednesday March 14, 2018 Mario varnishes gate  Sunday March 18, 2018 Kyle and Nate reattach gate to the fencing and fencing to the posts.

For this ESLP we wanted to help out our friends in the back of the school, the chickens. The chicken area in the back of the school is pretty basic and not efficient. So we decided to build a new gate for easy access to the chickens. We will be using wood and chicken wire to build this gate. This will make life a lot easier for Mr. Bursch and any others going into the chicken area. Pt2. We added on to the first and second ESLP's by making repairs to the chicken gate and fencing we  installed in October of 2017. We fixed the fence that was detaching fro the gate by nailing it back and reinforcing it to the fence. On the two posts we installed we reinforced the fence to posts and nailed them back.
